The Comton Cup is back in 2026 🏆
The best 5-a-side football competition for companies and organisations from across the metal and engineering sectors is booked!
The date for next year’s event will be Sunday 28th June 2026, and we can’t wait to see the Metal and Engineering sectors battle it out for the right to be crowned Comton Cup Winners.
If you’ve attended before, you’ll know what to expect, but if not here’s a few reasons why you should enter!

The event will be held at GOALS, Star City, Birmingham and we welcome team entries from across the UK, Europe and further afield.

How to Enter
To enter your team, fill out the below form.
Costs per team £495 plus VAT (7 players)
Additional players £75 plus VAT (max 2 per team)*

* 2 substitutions are allowed per team per game so a maximum of 7 players can be used in an individual game.

The Comton Cup will be held on Sunday 28th June 2026.
Teams consist of 7 players (5 playing plus 2 subs).
The price for entry is £495 + VAT per team.
If you need to add additional players to the 7 included please add £75 + VAT per player (maximum 2 in a team)
The price includes:
- Personalised football kits printed with your logo
- Food and drink for the players
- DJ
- Coaching and games for the kids
This is a chance to spend some time with your colleagues outside of the work environment, settle rivalries with your competitors, and meet up with industry acquaintances. Families and spectators are welcome
