Our Client is a market leading metals stockholder who are seeking a highly motivated, driven and skilled Sales Manager to lead an already successful existing sales team.

Requirements- What we need from you

The purpose of this role is to manage all sales activities and lead the sales team across the site to maximise business profitability. You will fully align all site commercial activities and goals to deliver short and long-term business objectives. You will work effectively as part the site Leadership Team, playing a key role in the strategic development and direction of the business.

Lead the Sales team to maximise sales opportunities and targets.
Regular reviews with the sales team including personal development plans and identifying training needs.
Develop robust sales plans, within the constraints of operational capacity, that seek to secure profitable market share and gross margin growth.
Ensure sales plans reflect the need to minimise stock levels, work in progress and customer debtor days.
Develop, publicise, apply and monitor customer service standards that seek to build customer retention levels.
Personally, lead negotiations with major and potential major customers and through regular meetings, build relationships to maximise commercial opportunities with them.

Summary
Our client services the North East and Lincolnshire area with steel products. The company are looking for a candidate to lead their already successful sales team and to ensure pr-agreed targets are hit and high standards are maintained.

Our Client need a candidate who is highly skilled, motivated, and experienced within management to help work on improving and developing the commercial side of this expanding business.

This role is suited to a candidate who is driven to generate sales and is motivated to maximise profit within a commercially minded team to ensure the continued growth of the business.

Full support will be provided, including an initial training period when you start working for the company.

Benefits/ Details

High Attention to detail – To ensure that the warehouse and operations side of the business runs safely and smoothly any successful candidate must have a high attention to detail to avoid operational errors.

Cutting Experience – It would be beneficial for candidates to have previous experience of cutting metal to precise measurements using a variety of different saws.

Experience in metals – Candidates will have previous experience within the metal sector including but not limited to any of the following; Mild Steel, Stainless Steel, Copper, Brass and Aluminium.
